Compressor waste heat is utilized for adsorbent regeneration, eliminating the electric heating module and significantly reducing operating energy consumption; after regeneration, dry purge air can be introduced for cooling to enhance adsorption performance. For use with oil-free lubricated air compressors only – oil-laden compressed air will cause adsorbent contamination and deactivation, and creates safety hazards; strict compliance with oil-free operating conditions is mandatory. Zero air consumption (ZP) variant available; total air consumption is less than 3%.
The H-HX/LX compressed heat desiccant dryers recover waste heat from the high-temperature discharge of the air compressor to regenerate the saturated adsorbent, eliminating the need for additional electrical heating. These dryers must be used exclusively with oil-free lubricated air compressors.
